Recommended Flow for Creating & Running Events
The following is our recommended flow for running an event.
Step 1: Create the Event
- Navigate to your Club Page as an owner.
- Click Create Event.
- Fill in the details:
- Series: Select the Series this event belongs to. (See Creating and Utilizing a Series).
- Details: Name, Location, and Date.
- Once created, use the management page to:
- Upload a Banner Image.
- Set the Cone Penalty (this overrides the default series setting).
- Toggle Public/Hidden status.
Step 2: Import Participants
Do this after registration closes on MSR/ClubReg.

Select Participants from the left sidebar.

Review the Import Instructions to ensure your CSV headers match our requirements.

Upload your participant list.
Critical Warning: You cannot import again once a run has been recorded in the timing software. Do this before cars hit the track. Otherwise, you can update participants from within the timing software.

If you updated class indexes in the Series settings recently, click Sync Modifiers here to ensure they apply to these drivers.
Step 3: Run Event & Export
On race day, use the sidebar controls:
- Open Timing: Launches the timing interface in a new tab. Do this early to ensure the event is available offline.
- Export Results: After the event, download a CSV containing all participants, run times, and penalties.
